LOVED BY SO MANY!

Katy recently took a trip to Roswell and got to meet her 'Grammie' and 'Pappa' (Jeb's grandparents). She is so blessed to have five GREAT grandparents! Katy has already met four of her great grandparents and will meet her Great Grandma Spitsberg in just a few days. Katy also has a great-great grandma, Bea. Her great-great grandma Bea lives kinda far away, but hopefully Katy will be able to meet her someday.

Katy is a month old...well...actually 5 weeks old! We think we'll keep her!

Thanksgiving with Archeys

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we had our Archey Thanksgiving with part of Jeb's family. Jeb's parents, Uncle Kim, and our sister-in-law, Aspen, plus us -- were all there.

A Busy Girl

Wow! Can you believe it! Katy will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. It is so hard to believe that we have had her for over a month now. Katy has been a very busy little girl. She has already particpated in her first youth fundraiser (the annual Turkey Dinner) -- She helped with the fundraiser when she was about 1o days old. Katy goes to work with mommy and daddy all the time now(in fact, this past Sunday Katy even helped Daddy do announcements and the advent wreath devotional in worship). Katy is really getting used to being at church. In fact, she has already been to worship services at 3 different churches in 3 different cities. She has also been to an Emmaus/Chrysalis Team Meeting...Katy will be an expert at all kinds of things in no time! Katy also has already traveled to High Rolls once and Las Cruces twice. And this week she will travel to Roswell to meet another set of her great-grandparents and then on to Farwell, TX to visit her Grandma Tena and Grandpa Scott. Katy is a traveling fool! Katy also experienced her first Thanksgiving. First we went to Mindy's granparents house in High Rolls for Thanksgiving and got to visit with lots of relatives. Then after a couple days in the mountains, we headed down to Las Cruces to have Thanksgiving with Jeb's parents.

Katy's Grandparents

Katy and her grandparents. Mindy's parents patiently waited in the hallway of the hospital while Katy was making her way into the world. (Picture one and two is Grandpa Scott and Grandma Tena). They stayed with us for a few days until a family emergency came up. Katy is looking forward to visiting with them again at Thanksgiving. We loved having them spend time with us! Jeb's parents came to see Katy the Sunday after she was born. They had lots to do with work, but came up to Albuquerque for a few hours just to see Katy. -- She felt pretty special. (Picture three and four is Grandpa James and Grandma Jan.) We were so happy that they came to see Katy. Katy had her first meal out with her Archey grandparents...to Fudruckers.

A Little Sun - Saturday, Nov. 4th

A little sun helps the yellow go away. So we hear anyways. Katy was looking a little yellow, so she took in a little sunshine this afternoon. Jeb also played the guitar for her while she sun bathed.

Friday, November 3rd -- A Day of Firsts

Today was Katy's first trip to Target. She did great -- let's just hope she loves Target as much as her mommy does :) Katy also had her first bath today. She seemed to like it okay.
She had a great night and let us get a good amount of sleep.

November 1st...Katy is born!!

Wednesday, November 1st around 11:00 am. Jeb wanted a picture of Mindy in her lovely hospital gown. We had just checked in to the hopsital and I was in pretty active labor--and about 6cm dialated. Nice gown huh!?! So after a few more hours of labor and fun (and no drugs or anything) we got ourselves a pretty little baby girl!

This is KATY SUSANNA . She was born at 5:21 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 1st, 2006! She weighed 7lbs and 3oz and measured in at 20inches long.

She is doing so good and is just as sweet as can be. We will post more pictures with more updates later!
